In July 1877, striking workers at Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Railroad rail yards retaliated against wage & job cuts by blocking railway cars. On July 21, militia & soldiers were called to help law enforcement. The unrest ended with more than 50 deaths, hundreds of injuries & major property damage. 🇺🇸🤝🇩🇪 In January, our Soldiers at the Eastern Army National Guard Aviation Training Site gave a tour of their campus to service members with @team_luftwaffe.
