On August 23, 2024, an Ariana Afghan Airlines Boeing 737-400 aircraft (YA-PID) operating flight FG403, from Khost Airport to Dubai, experienced Runway excursion at the end of the Runway in the act of take-off. On August 23, Ariana Afghan Airlines Boeing 737-400 (YA-PID) flight #FG403 to Dubai overran the runway while taking off from Khost Airport (KHT), Afghanistan. The aircraft was forced to divert to Kabul Airport. The tail of the aircraft received significant damage, and its horizontal stabilizer was also damaged.
